Techniques of battery disposal

Great importance has to be placed on the techniques of battery disposal in the present day and it is a well understood fact that battery disposal should be done in such a manner so that minimum damage is sustained by the environment at large. The disposal of batteries needs to be done in an efficient and well planned manner so that the environment does not sustain any harm from the process of disposal or even the disposal technique. A number of techniques of battery disposal for the ultimate purpose of battery recycling are followed in the present day. The techniques of battery disposal that are followed include collecting scrap batteries from homes and offices and other places where batteries are used (like industries). This is a direct method of collection. Other indirect methods of collection also exist. These include setting up collection centers for the purpose of collecting batteries, or even drop boxes where people can dispose of their old batteries specifically all these processes will ensure that batteries reach the recycling plant.
